500 and rising

500 and rising

TL;DR Thank you for reading my blog posts through all these years, this is the post number 500 (!) & the good thing is that I still enjoy writing, so I guess you can expect some more from me. What is 500 and rising? My blog post counter. Yes, this is the blog post #500. And I mean only "real", new blog posts - no shared links, no archive re-post, no meme full-pagers. Just articles. Round numbers make good opportunities for retrospectives: did I manage to achieve what I wanted to? is the reader base growing steadily? what…

Digital dumpster - personal brand & quality

Digital dumpster - personal brand & quality

What I'm about to write down right now may seem a bit controversial. Well, there may even be some who take it personally - however please rest assured that this post is not targeted at anyone in particular. So if you feel it may apply to you, keep calm & maybe give it some thought. Why you can't afford to miss "Daj się poznać"

This time, instead of a typical blog post, just a short advertisement / announcement. It's not that someone asked me for it or I've promised it to someone - it's just about the idea I like & find beneficial for the whole software developers community in Poland. Criticize demeanors & attitudes, not individuals or organizations

No-Kill-Switch is about tech. Well, various aspects of tech: these related to software engineering and those related to project management (agile project management, to be precise) as well. But the key point is, that as it's related to tech and my professional life is all around tech, it's NOT possible to avoid the influence of my professional life on my blogging. Isn't it risky? Does it interfere with any kind of professional code of conduct? That's what this blog post is about. First, my opinions are mine Before I go for details, one more important remark that has already appeared…

Goodbye Tumblr, welcome Ghost

So, what's the fuss about? Here I am, switching blogging platform again. Tumblr worked quite fine for me, at least for new months, but in the end it feels more like a social network than a blogging engine. It's neat enough if you're up to link some pics or slap a sentence or two, but it's far too limited to write anything tekky. That's why I've decided to look for something else and after some research I've decided to give Ghost a go. Why Ghost? it's still quite an early version, but I love the roadmap - it's very ambicious…
