Good news for the Raspberry Pi wannabe-lover (http://www.raspberrypi.org/) in Poland - you can get it locally, there’s no need to order it abroad: try here: http://htpcentre.pl/

I haven’t ordered anything there yet, but they seem quit solid. Unfortunately, the prices went up, but they are still acceptable (IMHO) and comparable with the international ones. 158 PLN for Model B is not that bad.

Nothing should stop you from building house-hold monitoring system on your own now :)
